I still remember as a little kid when I first heard Nelly (no not 2pac) ive LOVED rap music. In the 4th grade, I wrote my 1st rap ever! Ofcourse, it SUCKED but I loved it! After that, I just figured that if I started rappin, people would call me some wanabe Eminem and I didnt want that. Years went by and I started developing a love for hip hop. Started listenin to artists like The Cool Kidz, Lupe Fiasco, Nas, and many more. Once I hit my Freshman year, I started writin poetry. I had a PASSION for writing. So I just kept goin with that till my sophmore year. Thats when I transitioned into writing raps. Me and my friend Nich would sit in history class writing raps together, planning mixtapes, and designs and all that. I had a dream and I was sure I was going to follow it. My Junior year hit and I started hangin out with a guy named Angel. We went to Jr. High together but never hung out. We lived right next to eachother so hed give me rides home. One day, he was playing a cd and told me it was his music. Thats when we realized we both shared a love for music. So we started writin to beats off soundclick and just hangin out. Then one day, I went to record with a record label called 3rd Level Productions. The track was ok but in the end they took me off of it. That was spirit breaking at 1st but I got over it. Me and Angel recorded a few tracks together and planned to do a mixtape and a performance together but I realized I was more serious bout chasing the dream and he was all about dreaming. So I decided to branch off. Thats wen I bought my first mic, the samson C01U usb condenser (and I still use it). I wasnt that good but I developed a good team to work with. After that, I tried my hand at runnin my own label. And it didnt work, it flopped but I still plan to re-up it. So now we get to today, I have dropped one mixtape, workin on my 2nd, and worked with such artists as Faymus, Blizzi Boi, and many more. I am also in the process of workin with DJ Trigga of 2.0 Ent. SDMG. The decision to chase the dream has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I do music for the love not money, not fame. And I know most people would call bullshit on it but its true. I wouldnt give it up for anything in the world.
